EVENT: Theorizing the Web

by on March 26, 2011

The Theorizing the Web Conference takes place on April 9.  As a class, we will be hosting a workshop / poster session.

According to the “Call for Papers: The goal of the conference is to expand the range and depth of theory used to help us make sense of how the Internet, digitality, and technology have changed the ways humans live.” Our projects are directly related, given our attempts to use social media as a tool in order to create activist meanings.

In class this week, we will spend time conceiving our ‘posters’ for this workshop.  Come prepared to talk about your bigger theoretical questions, and how you are hoping to turn these into answerable goals.
