Picking an Audience

by on March 16, 2011

This week was steeped obsessing over format and audience. I finally came to the conclusion that I’d want to do something along the lines of Route1.org mixed with a Wiki. I like Route1.org because it provides a historical context and framework for the activist lives in Maryland. If I model my project after this site, then the tactics I put up initially will be historicized and shown to work in particular contexts that can later be adapted and emulated. I prefer to use the Wiki format because this way the tactics don’t get stale with time and can be adopted, changed, and made better. It also allows editing and making the tactics better

I am still nebulous about the audience, but I do think that activists would be a primary target. The question of chronicling then becomes an issue because I don’t want to speak for a group I am not part of. Maybe I should extend the project and invite them to join in?
