Chapter 2: I wonder why rescuing girls is the easy part: Fatoumata Bangoura

Are prostitutes victims or criminals? the story of Srey Neth and Momm makes me want to explore the critical thinking of young girls and women whose lives revolve around sexual labor.Even though both young girls were pushed into prostitutions by traffickers after being rescued both girls lived in environments that fostered their old lifestyles. Poverty, addictions to drugs, cultural norms, and lack of education were all factors that forced these girls to walk back into unsafe lifestyles. So What can be done by young feminist today?

Actions that we can explore on our blog
interview of former prostitutes(there is an NGO that serves prostitutes in DC)
Describe how different laws have effected sexual labor
what can be done to save women from sex traffickers
Analyze the feminist perspective
